I am working on the redesign of a web site. After the header I am designing a
two column layout. Column one is at the left margin to about 20% of the screen
for links and the last 8% is for text and graphics. All links are to open to a
new window. I have come up with the following:
.main1 {
display: block;
float: left;
width: 10em;
padding-bottom: 1em;
}
.main2 {
margin-left: 10em;
padding-left: 1em;
padding-bottom: 1em;
}
Will this remain the same, even when font size is increased or decreased? And
yes I need to design a font sizer.
I have a page that will contain three (3) columns after some text. For example,
I have my header, next some text, the three columns of text, some more text and
then a footer. Everything but the three columns I have solved. I would like to
use "Floats" for the tabular data, however, I am stumped. The columns are for
First and Last Name, Title and City located in. I am trying to think of a third
for name column, a second third column for title and a third third column for
city. that also works if the font size is decreased or increased. Any ideas?
