Greetings from a first poster

I have a client who has numerous online classes that are quite long,
provided to me in one text file, and that she is constantly changing and
updating. She wants the screen view for each page to render in a “print”
view (i.e., 8 ½” x 11”) with a border around each page and a watermark on
each ‘page’ (both the border and the watermark are jpg images). (Note: in
this application, media=’screen’.)

Here is my question:

Is there any way to create a style sheet so the text can simply be ‘dropped
in’ as a big block of text into the body in CSS2.1 so that there are page
breaks on the screen that function like a printable page break with both an
image border and watermark on each screen page? I really don’t want to have
to create blocks of text that break because she is constantly providing
updated text and it will require that I am constantly editing and
repaginating.

Apologies if this is elementary – I am fairly new to this css game.
