The css version is on the top and the image version on the bottom:

It looks great in Safari.  In Firefox Mac, it could use some spacing  
between the word and the line, but that looks good on firefox pc.  I  
thought maybe I could fix that with line-height.  Haven't tried it yet.
The big problem is IE.  In IE7, it looks terrible as the placement of  
the year is off and has a big white box.  Not sure what to make of  
it.  Any thoughts?

On both PC browsers the font rendering looks grittier than on the  
Mac, but I suppose there's nothing I can do about that.
