Hacking-methods _are_ often confusing since they more often than not break with the logic standards are based on. Besides, many hacking-methods are "so smart" that they outsmart both their creators and those who try to use them. This is especially true when old hacks meet new browser-versions and updated standards, as one has to be well versed in both standards and browser-peculiarities if one is to avoid clashing with both - either now or later. For a beginner's approach to "the whole process" I'll advice Sitepoints 'CSS reference', and especially their section on 'Workarounds, Filters, and Hacks'... <http://reference.sitepoint.com/css/workaroundsfiltershacks> ...as a starting point. regards Georg -- http://www.gunlaug.no ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
