You can add any width-value you want to the submenu, by targeting it
down the selector-chain - like so...

#menuv li ul li a {width: auto;}

...and "auto" works well there too.

The submenu ends up out of reach when page is subjected to the slightest
font-resizing though. Mixing 'em' in with 'px' tends to cause such problems.

#menuv li ul {left: 100%;}

...will work better and keep the submenu in place.
