Thank you, Tedd (and David). I don't know how I overlooked that article in 
all my searching, but I will give that approach a shot and see if I can make 
it work. After reading the explanation in the article, it seems that it 
would resolve at least the uneven ends issue, although as you said, Tedd, 
column content itself will not line up nicely at the bottom. Thanks again 
for the input!
