I use news groups, comp.lang.javascript, comp.lang.php, then there's comp.databases.mysql and alt.apache.configuration. If you are using an AJAX library such as jQuery ( Which has reasontly been taken on by Microsoft as a key technology to be use with its products) they usually have their own mailing lists.
