stylesheet and get rid of all proprietary styles in there first?
What's there now can scare the most proficient developer off.
In essence: make the basics work without trying to hack the living
daylight out of browsers - remove all hack-attempts, so we can look at
how to add the features you ask for help with without having to rebuild
the entire stylesheet from scratch.
Would sure like to see that construction without layout tables too,
since browsers don't agree on how certain styles should apply to HTML
table elements. Especially hard to make Gecko and IE agree here, which
are the browsers you're trying to get in line.
