I figured it out.  Forgive the inconvenience.  My browser setting was increased 
in FF

Check the browser preferences. Set all to default. IE/7 is zoom 
100%/text-size "medium." IE/6 is text-size "medium." Compliant browser 
default is 16px. Simplify how you call the font-sizes (from one location).

Personal Opinion: Not very nice  to play games by attempting to reset 
users machines to be 35.% smaller than their users prefer.
