Hi David,
IE6 applies these rules to the H1 A:
( from IE Developer Toolbar, View, Source, Dom:Element+Styles)
/* Rule 6 of ../../yar/css/style.css */
H1 A {
BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none
}
/* Rule 27 of ../../yar/css/style.css */
.c A {
BORDER-RIGHT: medium none;
BORDER-TOP: medium none;
FONT-WEIGHT: bold;
PADDING-BOTTOM: 1px;
BORDER-LEFT: medium none;
COLOR: #777;
BORDER-BOTTOM: #eee 1px solid;
TEXT-DECORATION: none;
outline-width: 0
}
So the BORDER-BOTTOM: #eee 1px solid; wins.
best
Ingo
