You can combine multiple classes selectors too:

.comment.wide { }

But support is lacking in IE6

Thanks David. That was just what I was looking for.

I'll deal with IE6 in some way. I've resigned myself to getting the 
layout near perfect in IE7 and near enough in IE6 anyway.
