You can use jQuery to wrap your content without affecting your markup:
$(document).ready(function(){
$('#content').wrap('<div id="wrapper"></div>');
});
and then style the newly inserted wrapped element. jQuery is perfect for
keeping your markup clean and avoiding presentational markup.
