Screen resolution hasn't been reliably 72 dpi since the demise of the CRT (5+ years ago?). HD screens get higher definition by having smaller pixels. And smaller pixels means larger numbers of dots per inch. From what I've seen LCD's can have quite a range, generally starting around 96, and going up from there. I've seen people on this list mention dpi on monitors upwards of 200, and they're getting higher every day. ---Tim ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [cs...@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
