I think that it is possible to more or less correct your layout for IE/6. I regret no magic bullet will give you instant gratification. It will be a long, slow, and very tedious process. You have a very complex layout using a slew of ids and a never ending list of multiple class selectors spread among and throughout 14 style sheets. Start at the top of the layout and work down. For example, in the mark-up, comment-out the menu. It is the width on it that throws the h-scroll bar in IE/6. Resolve the other issues in the header in the same manner. Then onto the left-sidebar.
