Brian, I'm not sure exactly how accurate it is as I've only just
started to use it myself for checking my site on a iPhone, but the
Safari browser has a Develop menu that allows you to select a User
Agent.  They have IE 6,7,8, Firefox, Safari and Mobile options.

I'm lucky enough to have an old machine still with IE6 simply for testing 
purposes.  It's a great resource to have if you can.
