This is a good, recent article from our very own Thierry: http://carsonified.com/blog/design/setting-rather-than-resetting-default-styling/ I think the general point to take from the current prevailing opinion is: don't use a reset 'blindly', think about the effects it's actually performing and adjust styles accordingly.
