[css-d] place a div at the bottom of another div

Hi,

I want to place a vertical bar across the page (at the bottom of the header
div.

    font-size: 0.625em;
    line-height: 1.8em;
}

    height: 35px;

    background-color: #6F9FC8;
}


and the html excerpt:
