I am trying to learn a new drop down menu. I was using Son of Suckerfish as a tutorial but I am missing something. http://www.tristateadvantage.com/trial-pages/dropdownmenu.html It is suppose to be horizontal. http://www.tristateadvantage.com/trial-pages/dropdownmenu.css I have display inline on the nav div. I had it on the nav li but it didn't make any difference.
This list requires some java script to make work in IE. I tried placing it in the html, which didn't work, placed it in the css and it works but I am not sure that it is correct. Another question. I would not mind using this as a vertical menu but the drop downs cover the next item. I tried changing the size of the ul and li and I have left clear on the nav li but it didn't seem to help. Any suggestions on how to make this work as a vertical menu?
