Hello Keith,

If the CSS is valid when you comment out the gradient syntax, I see no reason to be concerned. Soon WebKit is going to use the same syntax as implemented by Firefox.

The good thing about gradients is that you can use the normal things that you can do with background-image. This includes background-size and background-origin and background-position.
