same beast I've been dealing with..has a chunk of body copy and I'd like to slip an image underneath the copy but above the center column. Not vertically, but in the front-to-back sense of "underneath."

I've played a bit with z-index values. I can get the image to be in back of everything except the page background, and I can get it on top of everything! I guess that's something.

My body copy is child of my center area. So, if an image is child of the same parent, shouldn't assigning a higher z-index to the copy place it in front of an image?
