Thank you. After doing a search and a little reading, I understand it now. I didn't realize that "sticky footer" was a recognizable buzz phrase. When I read your description, I thought it was what you might get using position:fixed on the footer block. Now I realize it's what you use when content is too short, but you still want the footer at the bottom of the window.
