I was trying to figure out why my .news divider was not expanding with the
content. Also I noticed the content from the news divider is escaping the

Its not expanding because the depth of the content exceeds the height of
the block.
Delete the height rule and add overflow:hidden; to the ruleset in order
to enclose and contain the content.
