The spacing of the menu items varies from browser to browser but i just reckoned nothing much you can do about that, but looks fine and usuable in all the major ones.

I /thimk/ Lisa meant to write the list rather than just me...

The spacing is alright on this end with out-of-the-box settings in Mac Opera, Mac FF, Mac Safari, PC Chrome, and IE 7/8.

Those who may for whatever reason, wish to scale the fonts -- or those who may have a minimum font-size set in the prefs -- may find that the menu does not perform well and breaks badly in some browsers. But these issues are somewhat more advanced to tackle. Nevertheless please do write the list if you want to take a stab at it.
