Trying to adapt an existing web site to be more mobile friendly. With my limited skills I have almost achieved my goal. The only issue I'm having is with my footer on the home page. On some devices (HTC), it will cut off the footer. On other types, it looks fine. I'm using an @media reference in my CSS to control the change.
The problem appears to be with my sidebar2. I'm controlling it with a relative position and if I change it to show the footer on a HTC device, it starts to crowd the maincontent area on the other devices. Is there a better way to control the sidebar2 position so it would allow the footer to not be blocked by it's position? Since I'm using max-width on the code, you could resize your browser to see the issue. Again, I'm sure there are a lot better ways to right this code, but I would appreciate any pointers to get me going in the right direction. Here is the link. http://www.arb.uscourts.gov/ Happy with the secondary pages, even thought I still have a few tables in the code. Using the header in the secondary pages for a link back to the home page. Appreciate any tips. Thanks in advance, Tommy ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [css-d@lists.css-discuss.org] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
