Hi All,
I have a conundrum that I'm not sure how to fix. Firstly, here's a
JSFiddle that you can review: http://jsfiddle.net/Paceaux/Gqzyh/ . Due to
a non-disclosure agreement, I can't show you an actual page with full
context.
1. I'm doing :hover{text-decoration:underline}
2. I'm adding generated content on links to PDFs
3. I don't want the generated content to inherit the color or the
underline from the a:hover
I don't have any problem with this in any of the modern browsers, but IE8
still wants to show the underline when you hover the link. I've tried
experimenting with border-bottom and gotten the same result.
Is there any way through CSS to keep a:hover:after from inheriting
text-underline in IE8?
