I have been able to get the svg image that was not showing up in Opera
to appear by writing a new parent block selector for the center footer
pane and putting the svg background image on it. Holds fairly well --
at least on this end -- in Opera desktop; and Opera Mobile/OperaMini
on a low end Android mobile phone.
