I'm not sure what you mean, or what I should see…
Describing: a navigation block that is close to the black bar at the top. 
Mousing over *some* menu-items, a drop down appears, below the light 
greyish-with-gradient block. Oh, and when mousing over the menu-items, the 
colour switches to white (from '#navigation a:hover' in all.css).

The submenu (div class="drop") drops below the greyish-with-gradient block 
because of this (in all.css, line 50):

What is happening: the generated content drops below the image on the left of 
the page (what appears to be the company logo or something like that). I guess 
you intend to use that as a sort of clear-fix, however using those generic 
selectors (div, ul) is a bit of sledgehammer…
