Heck, I'd even be interested in seeing how this is done using an HTML
<table>! :)

If a <table> worked in a responsive layout, in this case, I would not
mind using a simple minimal table to get the results I'm looking for.

Out of all the web searching, I did not find a <table> example. Again
though, I need it to work responsively.
