So I think IE - Webkit - Blink implement an older version of the Flexbox spec. After some archaeological digging, older versions of that text seemed to specify that the percentage value of flex-basis resolved, in this case, to '0', whereas the most recent text specifies that it should resolve the ‘auto’. The latter makes much more sense (that would be the same as resolving the % height of a block box when the parent box has height of auto). Now I’ll have to think how best to fix my stylesheet.
