In the left-hand column under the Google map there should be a <div>
containing about four 'adverts' - each with a thumbnail image and text
underneath.
FYI: the adverts do show up in IE11, with some JS code showing above
them below the map.
Just a guess, but in addition to JS flaws you may have a layering
(z-index) problem for the relevant container.
