Sorry you can't do it. With or without tables. If you knew the height (witch you can't) then you would be able make this happen. Even in an markup like docbook, you can't do it. I don't think I have to say more. If I'm incorrect, I think someone will correct me. You can't do it. Period. Find some other means to do it.
