Hi there,

I've got an issue with all pages in my website.

When I don't declare a doctype, the javascript spry drop-down menu
works fine. When I do declare the html as HTML 4.01 strict and have
character encoding in, the same menu goes mental in IE (I've only
tried it in 7). Works fine for me in Safari and Firefox though.....

Here are two comparisons to try:

<a href="http://www.mnetuk.org/lbacreative/
index_with_doctype.html">With doctype, doesn't work
in IE7, but does in Firefox and Safari</a>

<a href="http://www.mnetuk.org/lbacreative/index_no_doctype.html";>No
doctype, works fine in IE7, Firefox and Sarafi</a>

Firstly, could someone with IE check that the menu messes up for them
on the doctype version and is ok on the non-doctype version?
Does anyone have any ideas please? I also get really weird things
happening in other pages, like layout shifting all over the shop, but
only when I have a doctype there!

I can't win - I make my html strict, validate it and it messes up. I
make it slack and sloppy and it works a treat!

Please help!

Michael.
