There are also many thecniques to use round corners without any images.
Those thecniches consist in use minimal elements (usually <b>) to
create a structure of nested elements.

There are methods of doing this with server-side languages
(phpMyBorder PHP Class, by example) and client-side (Nifty-Corners
Javascript library).

It's due to you to search and check what fits better to your needs.

PS.: I usually use niftycorners, or a corner plugin for jQuery.
