I am trying to figure out why my boxes are off in anything but IE7.
I a main <DIV> which includes two other <DIV> tags. This works in IE7
where the background from the main tag sits behind the entierty of
both children. But in IE8 the main DIV is too short. Basically the
bottom of the main box cuts through the other two boxes.
div#MainForm
{
border-style: dotted;
border-width: 1px;
width: 752px;
margin-right:auto;
margin-left:auto;
text-align: left; /* Counteract to IE5/Win Hack */
padding: 15px;
background-color: #f1f1f1;
}
div#Menu
{
border-style: solid;
border-width: 1px;
padding: 5px;
float: left;
width: 150px;
background-color: White;
margin-right: 10px;
}
div#Content
{
border-style: solid;
border-width: 1px;
padding: 5px;
float: left;
width: 568px;
background-color: White;
}
