Thanks, but that didn't seem to have any effect on it.  The image
stays in place while the text scrolls.  I just figured out what the
problem is, I just don't know how to fix it.  I am using a Javascript
fix for PNG transparency support in IE6.  When I remove the fix for
this div the image scrolls properly.  When I put it back, the image is
stationary.

Now I'm off to read about the DD_belatedPNG.js script.
