I just had an embarrasing situation.. I worked for days on the first page of a clients site, tested it on windows in IE 6-8, firefox, safari, chrome, and it looked perfect.
and my client was viewing it on a mac.. and the body font was gigantic on her machine, but I didn't know it was that big... meanwhile I am doing the back and forth revisions, all the while we are looking at totally different font sizes... Then I thought I should send her a screenshot, and ask if that is what she was seeing... and of course she wasn't seeing that, and so I'm thinking it's a mac thing.. She is running (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.2) Gecko/20100115 Firefox/3.6 I don't have a mac, (thinking about it hard now) but was looking at some online services that allow you to view the site in a mac, such as crossbrowsertesting.com and browsrcamp.com Can anyone share experience with those or a similar online service to test sites for macs? cheers Brett -- -- You received this because you are subscribed to the "Design the Web with CSS" at Google groups.
