Thank you, so much! - for taking the time to reply. I'm getting the "Sams Teach Yourself HTML and CSS in 24 Hours", "Transcending CSS: The Fine Art of Web Design" and "HTML5: Up and Running" - Mark Pilgrim. I did see his free book online but I'd rather buy the book. He deserves the income.
I do sort of understand how this works, in theory, but not how to implement the CSS. I have a File Manger; I go into individual files and make the changes in striaght html code. And every year, or whenever I change all my footers, headers, or whatever, I spend most of a day, going through EACH FILE, and making the changes. A waste of time, I realize. I just haven't gotten, yet, how to do the one CSS file, which will apply to ALL my files. Haven't figured that out yet.
