Only with javascript or a serverside solution. You could use something serverside that fetches the data instead of the actual table, or if that isn't possible a function that extracts the info out of the table and puts into some other HTML structure. If it's ok to have differing amounts of "cells" you could use a list instead.

However, if the actual content is connected on both the x-axis and y- axis, then it belongs to a table. If not it's something else.
