The official means is unget, but it will refuse under various conditions (you
are not owner or the userid who checked it out).

Me?  I'd verify (cat) the p-file is the one I think it is and that it only
has one entry and then rm it.  But do that at your own risk!

I have just encountered a cache of SCCS files which I would like to
covert to something slightly more modern.  Right now, there is a a file
that was checked out ten years ago and never checked back in.  "sccs
clean" has told what the file is.  How do I free it?
