Hello, I have installed and working csync2 together with lsyncd on few servers. All is working fine except that we noticed a strange problem. Let's say that we have csync2 + lsyncd installed on a server which sync /var/www to the other servers and we have a FTP user that upload to /var/www a file (bigger file). What i see is following. I start to upload a bigger file to /var/www and i keep watching file uploading progress in FTP client and on server. At some point during upload lsync see that there is a new file and notify csync2 to sync it. At this point I see that on server side file writing stops and file size do not change anymore, but on FTP client still continue to upload.
Result is that file on server is uploaded partially, but FTP client says that it is fully uploaded. After few checks and tests I see that always file gets corrupted. I set proftpd to use a temporary hidden file until upload finish and then rename it to final name, but still I need to find a solution of this problem. This problem does not happen If I upload the file on a directory different than the one that csync2 sync, then file is fully uploaded and healthy. Any ideas why this happens and how to solve this problem? Awaiting for your reply. Thank you in advance.
