I am working on 2.6-incubating, though I haven't made much progress in the last week due to other commitments and also some time off.
I'll be building from SHARPn-cTAKES branch in the SVN on apache.org. I have some late changes from the sf SVN to merge in yet, that had been made after the svn dump was created. 2.6-incubating will not include package name updates or maven usage. It will be very similar to 2.5 but will include relation extraction and a few of the things that had been missing from the type system like timeClass and some arguments, but not the new XxxxMention classes such as DiseaseDisorderMention. I will post the latest list of Jira issues planned to be included later today or tomorrow. -- James Masanz > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] > On Behalf Of Coarr, Matt > Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2012 12:02 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: release plans? > > I didn't hear this from anyone explicitly, but I was assuming that we > would create a branch for the 2.6-incubating release rooted at the svn > version for the 2.5 release, and then pull in any changes needed for 2.6. > > Matt > > > On 2012-09-26 12:24 , "Steven Bethard" <[email protected]> > wrote: > > >So I've seen a number of changes recently that I thought weren't going > >to happen until the 3.0-incubating release: the switch to Maven, the > >renaming to org.apache.ctakes, etc. > > > >So what's happening to the 2.6-incubating release?
