demonstrates how
other footnote-number-representations (\Roman, \roman, \Alph, \alph, \fnsymbol)

possible, especially for more footnotes than letters in the alphabet or symbols

fnsymbol. Creation of smaller link boxes for footnotes is explained in the
documentation.
