Summary description: A LaTeX template for ASME conference papers

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The asmeconf class is a LaTeX template to format conference papers published by
the
American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

The layout and references styles of asmeconf follow the styles requested by
ASME in 2024.
Hyperlinks and pdf features are fully supported. The class includes a modern
BibTeX
style, asmeconf.bst, that supports online sources, URL and DOI fields, and
generates
current reference styles. This .bst can replace the old asmems4.bst.

Changes in this version include: a variety of edits and updates to the
underlying code;
fixes for several issues related to language support, particularly under
LuaLaTeX;
rescaling the Latin fonts under LuaLaTeX to match those in pdfTeX; and the
addition of a
few new commands.
