On Tue, 17 Apr 2007, Heiko Oberdiek submitted an update to the pdftex.def
file. Location on CTAN: graphics/pdftex/pdftex.def Changes of version 0.04g: * \pagecolor overloads \shipout. This is now done in a more robust way using e-TeX if available.
