As far as I know all phones will request permission to connect.. I think
its more a built in feature of the phone to prevent virus like midlets
from using airtime without permission...

Hi all,
Does anyone know how to get past the above message when running a Midlet
that tries to establish a SocketConnection in Netbeans 4.1 emulator?
I’ve searched the Java Developer Forums, and the suggestion solution is
to sign the Midlet.
I’ve done that, but the emulator still shows the above message!
PS. A separate Thread performs the Socket communication.
Here’s some debug output from Netbeans:
Generated "C:\Projects\MobileApplication\dist\MobileApplication.jar" is
5907 bytes.
Signing Jar
Adding MIDlet-Jar-RSA-SHA1 attribute.
post-jar:
run:
Starting emulator in execution mode
Running with storage root DefaultColorPhone
Any ideas?
