Hi guys.

What happened to in-service-training. When I was on tech [now known as kaput]
companies gave guys 2 3 month stints to test there skills at minimum wage.

My first three months were basically more training in Java and learning EJB2.0.
The second three months I had to work on a large project using EJB2.0.

And once you proved yourself in those 6 months they hired you permanently, a
step up from minimum wage. So as soon as I wrote my final exams I had a place
to work.

Isn't it like that anymore?

Cheers.
Bertram.
