The windows impl of WebDav is flakey. For eg windows explorer allows
you to map a drive to the repos - this is read only. Nuff Zed.

Both Eclipse and Netbeans have svn support (need to download pluging
with NetBeans). The Netbeans client is merely adequate, but at least
you can write.

I am surprised that webdav and its cousins are not as familiar as its
older brother http.
