The Library Development Division is delighted to announce that we have hired Dawn Vogler as our new Continuing Education Consultant. Her first day will be Wednesday, August 1. Dawn comes to us with extensive experience working in a one-person library setting. She will be developing workshops on a variety of topics ranging from marketing to long-range planning to Internet searching skills to grant writing techniques. In the coming weeks, Dawn, Marilyn Johnson (Technology Consultant) and Naomi Dominguez (Distance Learning Consultant) will be visiting the regional System offices, attending System and TLA district meetings, and developing new workshops to meet the training needs of Texas library staff.
