Austin Public Library will host a special holiday puppet show at the Faulk Central Library, 800 Guadalupe this Friday, December 21 @ 10:30 a.m. Please invite parents, kids, groups, everyone to come. No pre arrangements are necessary. Anyone can come.
Hand to Mouth Puppet Theatre will present "On the Bright Side," and there will be free coffee available for the adults. "On the Bright Side" tells the tale of Jesse and his pet armadillo Bubba. On the way to feed a friend's horse, Jesse's jeep breaks down and he ends up spending a night under the stars, looking on the bright side!
Even if you don't have kids to bring, this is a great opportunity to see master puppeteers in action. While you are here, stop in at the Austin History Center to see the current exhibit, PUPPETS!: From Sock Figures to Sicilian Marionettes.
