As you may know, Austin Public Library changed telephone exchanges last week. Local calls now start with 974 rather than 499. The ILL 800 numbers that you normally use for faxing or calling in requests are not working. Until you hear from CTLS-L again, please consider emailing your ILL requests. If you need to talk to ILL or would rather fax or call in a request, just call the CTLS 800-262-4431 number and someone will transfer the call for you.
Sending ILL Requests Using Email You will need a library e-mail account or a personal e-mail account to e-mail requests. Please send only one title per e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You must type in the body of the e-mail all bibliographic information, i.e., title, author, publisher and publication date. Provide a contact name as well as your library name. Sending ILL requests via e-mail has an important plus for ILL staff. It allows us to reply immediately to your e-mail if there is a problem with your request.
